What I’m working on
The homelab. Specifically, the small OpenStack Dalmatian cluster I run on Hetzner bare metal in Helsinki, with a nested compute node attached from my vSphere environment in New York. This site is one of the tenant workloads. Most of my recent writing is documentation from that build — what worked, what broke, and what I would do differently.
What I’m looking for
Paid work in tech. I’m keeping the scope deliberately broad — open to anything from hands-on infrastructure and networking through senior engineering and leadership roles. Remote-first is the strong preference; hybrid in the New York area is a close second; on-site in NY also fine. Aiming for about one technical post per month while job-searching. Currently drafting a long-form write-up about migrating this blog onto the OpenStack cluster from its previous Bionic-era VM home.
